How to Play One More Clue
Learn how guesses, clues and stars work. Play three free daily rounds, unlock extras with earned stars, or try free unscored practice and shared challenges.
A wrong guess reveals the next clue. With an account, a correct answer earns 5, 4, 3, 2 or 1 stars when 1, 2, 3, 4 or 5 clues are visible. A wrong guess on the fifth clue or revealing the answer ends the round without stars. Each extra round costs 5 stars, with up to three extra rounds per day. Replace a round once before your first guess or extra clue. New daily rounds arrive at midnight UTC.
Practice requires an account: 10 new puzzles per UTC day. Practice and shared challenges are unscored. Share a result to let a friend try the same puzzle.
